the door to room 11 of the greenwich hotel in east greenwich, ri, usa. i spent a week in this room, and it was one of the worst times of my life. there was decay, loneliness and overwhelming hopelessness. it was also one of the hottest summers i can remember.
i don't recommend a stay at this lodging, unless it's absolutely necessary. for me, it was.
